Ozawa Sake Brewery was founded in Bushu Sawai Village, a highway line connecting Edo and Koshu in 1702. The sake inscription "Sawanoi" is derived from the place name "Sawai Village", which is given from the appearance of rich water flowing as a swamp.
Water that springs out of the cave that excavated the rocks of the Chichibu Formo, the rich greenery, the clear Okutama air, the selected raw rice, the sharpened technique, and one drop. It is Sawanoi's belief that the finished sake is the sincerity and efforts of all companies.
We aim to make sake brewing so that customers who drink can feel the natural breath of Okutama.
Purchased it at convenience store at a train station. Well designed bottle. The lid turns into a cup (Ochoko). Great for long train ride. Very clean and easy to drink.
